Internet is "Make me Isolated"

I have the title, suggest me something..

Recently came across a news article which was talking about people being isolated and behaving more unusual because of the excessive use of the Internet. While reading that article, I decided to post this blog. Decided to write about how people around me - including me - behave with Internet. It has been proven since last decade and we all agree that Internet, less know as World Wide Web has many benefits to offer to each age group. People like me cook nontraditional and fashionable dish for wife to impress them. Internet has made financing transaction and activities so easy that one don't need to spend lot of time at bank, financial market or even at lottery stand. Old age can get online degree at age of 70 where as college student can play game in virtual network. Thought the later part and usage for a certain group is a big concern. I will try to put more thoughts as I go along with this blog.

I agree somewhat with the article saying that with the excessive use of Internet, people get isolated with world around them. We gave access to Internet on cell phone and our children surf, play game while we are buying a family car at the store. US even have a commercial which shows the same scenario. Student learnt how to use torrent and it’s a done deal, you would not find any difference between a lazy dog and you son or a daughter who pops up at the kitchen only when he smells food. Cold but true. I have seen uses gets so much uncomfortable if they do not have an access of the Internet on their computer, and believe me they just want to check their Gmail account, they would not find any new mail, they would go to Spam folder, find couple of spam and delete them.

It gets even worst with game on Internet. Many online game stations has provided environment where you can play an intense game with any virtual friend. In a way its good but then you tend to have only virtual friend. Upload and download from Internet is so popular that sometimes we keep our machine running for more than 4 days. Or even sometime we forget when we turned of them. If we are staying with a bunch of student in a dorm room then we tend to buy or dedicate a machine which only does this job. Download Upload. We start sharing good thoughts on an email rather than at dinner table. Now that what make a family life expletive. We only forward email or may be chat sometime to your friend rather than sending them a nice email. We rather chat on Gtalk or yahoo, then going to roadside Chaiwala and have a cup of tea and share a muskabun. Cold but true. We write blog then sharing thought face to face. Cold but true.

We have forgotten time management and vastly because of Internet usage. We watch our series or a movie on our convenience, since we do can watch it online. We don't respect or realize the fun of waiting for an episode. We watch Prison break or House's 2 seasons in a week, watching 5 hrs a day. We decide to watch Mahabharata together and ending up having separate episode number for each one. Like this excessive use of Internet, We tend to emphasize on personal happiness and requirement, and May be that make us more ALONE and ISOLATED. It is actually turning us in a frog which believes that this well is a Universe.
